Something I just want to point out for once
The more complicated and intricate something is, the easier it is to break.

Exactly, it's like saying "I dropped my rock in the mud and it was fine, but when I dropped my gun in the mud it jammed! The rock is truly a better weapon!"

I have a rock at home. It's been sitting at the back of my Garden for the last million or so years, has survived various weather types/ storms/ ice ages and still works fine.

But I drop my laptop once and it breaks.

Ergo, a rock is superior to a Laptop

NES is the clear winner, hell NES would be the clear winner even if the 360 was perfectly fine.

Retro gaming for the win

That's like saying the TARDIS is ******** than your car because it's broken down more times.

ok, i do REALLY like posts like this, they crack me up. BUT. what people keep forgetting is to make the graphics work as well as they do and all around make these amazing systems working well, is all the tiny, sensitive, electric and amazing devices inside. **** not even dreamed of 10-20 years ago.

all "its made to break in x amount of years" arguments aside

also would you ever let a dog piss over your xbox or even have it in its reach?

How about we compare the games and the technology and then tell me what one you would rather have.

Super Mario > New games. Anyone?
User avatar #72 - FJSoldier (10/22/2011) [-]
I hate these comparisons, one has sophisticated hardware that has become more fragile with advancements and the other is an old brick from the past (not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with that) But seriously, it's stupid to compare the two.
#19 - xxxsonic fanxxx (10/22/2011) [+] (11 replies)
maybe you shouldn't play it for 10 ******* hours straight, also if you drop something from like that from less then 4 feet of course it will ******* break, Your dumbass should know **** will break if dropped from atleast 4 feet so **** off and go suck your dad's dick for another xbox, Richard Simmonsgot.
User avatar #21 to #19 - okievikes (10/22/2011) [-]
I signed in just to thumb down your stupid ******* opinion. The point that was blatantly thrown at you was the the 25 year old, mistreatin, pissed on, tank of a game console has lived past the 3 year old game console that has been treated like a prince, and got dropped only once on a carpeted floor.
#127 - qasman (10/23/2011) [-]
More **** inside, more **** to break and go wrong...

Compare the sizes of both and then compare their graphical capabilities. You know how much **** is inside a 360? How delicately precise it needs to be? That's why it gets ****** up easier than NES's and other old consoles.
User avatar #116 - aceshot (10/22/2011) [-]
The more advanced the system gets, the more processes the system has to complete. Therefore, there is more room for error.

NES, SNES, PS1, and original xbox all work fine... 360 made me finally give up entirely on consoles. all PC now

However the one thing I hate about it is FALLOUT NEW VEGAS NEVER SEEMS TO WANT TO STOP FROM LAGGING ON THE DLC JUST TO SPITE ME.

Xbox users, does this happen on the box?

it does not. But ps3 has the yellow light of death. Which I fear my ps3 is going to get in a couple months. It's overheating like a mofo and it is in a wide open space

bigger components... less chance to break.... that's what happens when you make things more complex in the same volume... i'd like to see you drop a human brain (assuming the actual "seperation from body part" didn't matter) on the floor from a few centimeters and not give it irreprible damage..
