Then don't judge. I'm on Chrome and IE9 right now, I have no reason to not use IE9. It's not slower than the other browsers, and functions the same.
Now go, thumb me down. Believe everything you've already read about IE6 and assume it's still true. I hear it's shit when it comes to website layouts, and I will admit that is true. I'll probably be watching this so if anyone who bashes it with no reason can form a coherant arguement, then go ahead.

I don't understand the hatred for IE. Nobody's putting a gun to your head. If you don't like it, don't use it. Most internet hate magnets like Beiber and Twilight are hated because their fans annoy the crap out of people. As far as I know nobody's walking around wearing "Team Internet Explorer" shirts. If you're not using it you have nothing to complain about. Don't give me that "they make me use it at work" crap. Every single school or work computer I've ever been on has at least one other browser to use. Let the red thumbs rain.

Those aren't preferences. Lets say we're taling in terms of ice cream. If you say "I like chocolate" that's a preference. Saying "I hate anyone that likes vanilla" however, is retarded.

You're correct in that stating that you like a certain flavor of ice cream is a preference. You've made no point in saying that anyone who says "I hate anyone that likes vanilla" is retarded. You've effectively said exactly what they just said. That's still an opinion, and it's yours to have and theirs to have as well.

Lots of people don't like IE. Lots of people don't like Chrome. Lots of people don't like Mozilla Firefox. Lots of people don't like Opera. Lots of people are going to hate on things because it's their opinion.

If people start to say that x internet browser is better than y rather than "I like x better than y.", they had better start giving facts about why it's better or they look silly.

Also, sorry for coming off as a bit of a douche in my previous comment.
