We are free to do each of those things, however it has become a societal norm. Everyone does it, because doing these things will bring happiness. You can choose not to get a job and be homeless. You dont have to be married, but most want to, the same with children. If you dont follow fashion, no one gives a shit, but if you dont act normally, you get sent to a psychiatric ward. Watching tv makes people happy, but its not forced upon you. Obey the law or you will go to jail, each law is made to protect and help others. Save for retirement or else you will old and homeless.
