I FUCKING LOVE VIDEO GAMES.
I going to school to study Game Design, and I absolutely hate the fact that people can't seem to grasp that Game Design is a legitimate career.
This is a conversation I had with a girl I worked with:
Me: "What are you going to school for?"
Her: "Oh, you know, psychology. I want to be a therapist. What about you?"
"I'm going for Game Design."
"Game Design? Like, video games?"
"Yeah."
"You can go to school for that?"
*facepalm*

That's not the only incident either. Whenever I mention what I want to do, it seems like people freak out that I'm trying to pursue a career that'd, oh, I don't know, I'd be fucking happy to do for the rest of my life! Just because you don't like your job, doesn't mean I have to give up on my dream. That seems to be the problem. People have stopped dreaming. I will never lose my child-like wonder of the world. I will never stop dreaming.

I honestly have no idea how that turned into a rant. If you read it though, thank you for doing so. I should really stop typing when I'm tired.
