ID Reasons Why Gay h' Carriage is Wrong
L Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural
things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way
that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3., Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy
behavior, People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog
has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn' t
changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can' t marry
whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were
allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears‘
marriage would be destroyed.
Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay
couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn' t be allowed to
marry because our orphanages aren' t full yet, and the world needs
more children.
7. Geniously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight
parents only raise straight children.
S. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like
ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country.
That' s why we. hays only one religion in America.
Children can never succeed without a male and a female role
model at home. That' s why we as a society expressly forbid single
parents to raise children.
Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could
never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven' t adapted to
cars, the economy, or longer life spans.

Nice post man, shows the ignorance Americans can posses (yes, I'm American). I mean really, who cares if you're gay or smoke weed or what the fuck ever? Can a person not do what he/she pleases in the comfort of their home/country with out persecution? Seriously guys, this isn't the fucking 1700's anymore.

I used to be for Gay Marriage but this post really turned me around on the issue, a lot of really well thought out arguments against gay marriage and to be honest I'm not really sure why I didn't see it all sooner.

Marriage is a symbol of the desire to spend your life with somebody. If gay people have those feelings, they should get that right. Further, as Jesus said about gays: "Not a damn thing."

You know what will happen if gays can marry?
Nothing.
Taxes won't go up, the stock market won't go down, unemployment won't rise, no wars will start, diplomatic relations won't be affected, and the crime rate won't go up.
Why, then, is this a raging political issue? Just legalize the damn thing and let the gays get married. What has anybody got to lose?

And there really aren't many anti-gay people out there who are really care to do a thing like that. And to top it off, gay marriage is already legal in some states. It's not like we're opening the floodgates here.
