I'm with you on that. I was born in '94 but I still remember all of these cartoons; watching Doug, Ren and Stimpy, Hey Arnold, etc. The cartoons still went on till the early 2000's (i believe so at least). either way I enjoy all of those cartoons. I wish they still played them. Great cartoons and some with actual morals and not complete moronic story lines. I feel bad for my sister who was born in 2007. She never got to grow up with Gameboy's or Nintendo's. I try to get her to play my 64 but she doesn't get the concept of it (she's 4). So by the time she does, my parents will have gotten her all those 3D High def thingamabobs.

True, every generation has its own unique qualities. I guess the benefits of our's is we grew up with our cartoons and pop culture and even though the technology was created in the 2000's, we are the ones that are the youngest to use the technology created now, daily (cell phones, computer's etc.) We are the first generation to "have fun" with the internet like its nothing or pull out a 5 inch by 2 inch computer out of our pockets. We were the first to reap the benefits of our parents' generation's creations. To be honest, we had alot of transition when it came to technology. Our kids won't know about a walk-men or about wired controllers. All they will see is wireless, touch-screen, and voice activated electronics. Maybe every generation views themselves the same way, something about them is great and stands above all the rest. For us its the electronics and cartoons. But I do see your point.
