MADE IN/ IE THINK COLE’ 2
Today, in the cutest voice, my daughter asked me to start recycling.
I chuckled and asked, "Why?" She replied, "Soyou can help me save the
planet." I chuckled again and asked, "And why do you want to save the
planet?" "Because that' s where I keep all my stuff," she said. MMT

Today, I interviewed a woman who is terminally ill. "So," I tried to
delicately ask, "What is it like to wake up every morning and know
that you are dying?" "Well," she responded, "What is it like to wake
up every morning and pretend that you are not?" MMT
Today, I was traveling in Kenya and I met a refugee from
Zimbabwe. He said he hadn' t eaten anything in ever 3 days and
looked extremely skinny and unhealthy. Then my friend offered
him the rest of the sandwich he was eating. The first thing the
man said was, "We can share it." MMT
Today, a 12 year old boy died in a house fire near my

That last one has happened to me. My first trip overseas, I was first flown to New York, in the airport, a little girl gave me a note and wanted me to give it to her dad. I put it in my left breast pocket next to a picture of my girlfriend. It turns out I never met the girl's dad until We went to his field service (soldiers' funeral overseas).

I put the note on his casket and said "she loved you" out loud...

...Then I went to look at the picture of my girlfriend that night and noticed I left the picture on the casket and kept the note...

This is Jordan Rice, he was swept away in a massive flash flood that went through his town here in Australia not too long ago. He, his mother and his brother were standing on top of a car as the water levels rose, waiting to be rescued. When a rescuer worker got to them, he tried to take Jordan first, but he told the rescuer to take his mother and his brother first. By the time the rescuer managed to get his mother and sister to safety, the water had swept him away and killed him. This 13 year old sacrificed himself for his family, RIP buddy, you're a true hero

I saw a military officer in the store the other day. He was standing in the little girl's toy aisle, looking highly confused. I walked over to him and shook his hand, thanked him for his service. when i asked him why he looked so confused, he looked at me with tears in his eyes and said "while i was deployed my daugher was born. she's two now and i haven't ever met her once. I dont know what she even likes"

In the year approximately 2018 i will be serving in the armed forces after i graduate from west point if all goes according to plan. I try my best to stay out of love, and try to let everyone know how i feel and be as real to me as possible because i know i may not have forever. The only person who i really worry about is my little sister... who i already never see. I go to a private school and only get to see her maybe once a week. If I'm in college that will be an even smaller amount of time to see her... she is 6 now and will be 13 when i graduate college. I pray the in the short time i have with her i can teach her to do good in the world (not do well, do good) and be the person who i can never be. Please send you're prayers for the troops in service today as well in the future, and please help do whatever we can to stop the war so i can hope for a better chance to return to my little sister and hopefully have a family of my own. Thanks, and sorry for taking up you're time on this post, the last one had me in tears and wanted to share. Have a good day everyone, best wishes to all of you. :)

I remember back in 2005 when i was in year 7 at high school (i am from England) we were all going on a trip for 3 days at i adventure park (not like Disneyland it was for stuff like caving rock climbing and **** like that) i was 11 at the time and was disappointed to hear that the trip was postponed for about a month, its not until later that i found out the reason why. apparently the group of students from a different school who booked the time slot before us where caving one day when suddenly it started to flood. there was this one kid who helped everyone before him to get out even teachers but as he was about to exit his boot got stuck in between two rocks and he could not escape. no one knew until the water had drained away that he was missing. As our school arrived the following month i remember seeing the cave in which he died. there were no flowers just an old police do not cross line around it which was cut down and flapping in the wind. that entire trip i was thinking why he was not in the papers, the news or anything but i guess sometimes its the good ones that die and dont get respect instead its the celebrity's who are addicted to drugs and basically kill them selves who are mourned by the public these days. but anyway i will never forget that kid may he rest in peace who ever he was.
