I think you need to pay attention to the fact that the comments program is converting "you're" to "your", and vice-versa. My *your comment was a joke, made even more amusing to me by the fact that it would be automatically changed to "*you're" when posted.

It does not matter though, because regardless of how you say the phrase in that situation, it is still incorrect because "skittles" is plural and "is" is singular, so you must change "is" to are before you even begin to worry about possessive versus the contraction.
