if you guys want to know what happens, here's how it works. because your cpu screen emits light, your eyes will start to make a mental picture of the image. because when you close your eyes it is really dark, you wouldn't be able to see it once you closed your eyes. for that reason, your brain turns it into a negative image, which pretty much means the color turns into its exact opposite. once you start to see it as its opposite, the colors cancel each other out, and become a default white. that is also why if you move your eyes it comes back, because the image has to be as strong negative as it is positive, so your eyes must stay stationary for a certain period of time.
