None of my grandparents are dead.

I don't know that feel, bro.

My grandmother died last week.

I feel the same, not for that reason, but because I didn't cry at her funeral when everyone else did.

And I didn't visit her two weeks before she had the heart attack that put her in the hospital before she died.

Idunno if this sounds ****** up in any way, but please let me know if it does.

I've never cried at a family member's funeral for one reason... Its better that I don't. I don't feel the need to unnecessarily add to the disbelief and sorrow to the situation. Instead, I go around to every family member that IS crying like MAD and help them out, hug them, wipe their tears away, and talk them into a better view of what the death entails... A learning experience, more than anything. I do this because I've always believed everyone needs a shoulder, and I've always been the one to offer my shoulder.

But when my wife dies... I'll admit it... I'm going to cry like a ******* BITCH.

You think that's bad?
Last summer, my grandpa died, and my mother woke me up, this was at 4 am. Since it was the summer, I had stayed up until 2 am or so, so I had 2 hours sleep, then had to drive an hour to get to my grandma's house, and stayed there until the next morning, 1 am...And all I was thinking the ENTIRE time, from 4am to 1am the next day, was " **** , why did I wake up for this?"
