If you actually like her you should be able to work past that. Remember that religion is a huge thing in some peoples' lives and, even if she likes you, you being whatever you are (Atheist, I'm assuming) could turn her off of anything with you.

i know shes religious but i don't know if shes like so religious that if me asking her out would be like a slight against god or something
so i don't really know how to find out if asking her out would be a mistake or not. like i don't care if shes says know i'm just worried about offending her or something....if that makes any sense

if she cant accept you for who you are and what you believe then she is not right for you. give it a shot when the time is right and if it does not work out, fuck her. youre awesome sir, even though i can not understand what would compell you to "hate" religion, but thats your business. think of it like this: you are the ceo of a company looking to hire new employees. if the employee does not fit your key expectations, they are not getting the job. move on to the next potential worker
