to bad it actually cost more to make a replica then to just buy one and thats why record companies shit themselves when the internet came around
true but also counting for materials the prophet margin is fairly thin and no internet means they could only sell to their area and the consumer base is smaller and they would have to make new molds for new albums all in all little prophet with numerous losses for new molds means replication was mainly small scale and not effective means of piracy. with the internet you get no cost transportation to across the world but it costs one album then millions can then get free music all in all this lead to piracy as a truly self sufficient form of piracy and this is why record companies shit themselves, similar but smaller response was seen before this back in the late 90's where people could begin ripping cd's with the new disk drives writing capability led to people making fake cd's as well.
it may be Piracy of the 50's but its a repost of the 00's
am i the only one who finds the way vinyl records work to be amazing..

vinyl is higher quality than the best cd due to the fact that records are analog, more or less exact representations of the music. even the highest quality cd is digitalized, meaning that it cant play every single frequency that was supposed to go into the recording. thus, digital music is worse than records
well sir, allow me to help. start with a program called Bittorrent. download it. now go to http://demonoid.me/ and use the search bar. type in the game you want. when you get to the results page, narrow your search to games. check the comments at the bottom of the page before downloading. people on demonoid usually say when the file has a virus. don't trust any torrents without any comments at all.
wait a few days, and install. you have just pirated your first game!

lol maybe I should specify my situation.
Sometimes I'm able to, sometimes I can't, and 90% of the time there's some kind of crack that I have to find or a serial generator or some shit and it's like, god, why do this when I can just buy the fucking game, so I gave up even attempting that stuff.
Back when I used to pirate shit it was mostly music, since it's just a bunch of easily-obtained MP3 files, but I've left those days behind to live the life of a lawful citizen and now purchase my music legally.

i usually download music and movies. i only download games every now and then. from what i've seen, game torrents are hit and miss. if something fucks up, try again. pirate bay is known for being full of viruses, but i've gotten some good torrents from there. i check multiple sites before i give up on a game.
Back when I did torrents it was on btjunkie, which was recommended to me from a friend who said it had more reviews from users and crap like that. The selection's a bit slimmer, but it's safe. Plus, Chrome gave me a malware warning when I tried to go to piratebay once, so I've steered clear from there ever since.
The only game I ever downloaded successfully was Doom 3. It was just a download, extract & play process, fucking nice.
