The River that died in the library was the oldest version of River Song we met. The other ones are younger versions of her. Her and The Doctor now are basically traveling in opposite directions in knowing about each other now.

Ah, that makes sense. I haven't watched any of the newest series, and barely watched the previous season. I just can't stand Matt Smith...he's not "My Doctor".. :(

You shouldn't judge Matt Smith too harshly because he isn't David Tennant. None of us are, and nobody could hope to match his greatness, but David's moved on. The Show's still awesome, and still deserves every bit of praise it gets.

I cried manly tears when I saw David Regenerate into Matt. To me, every regeneration means that I'm leaving behind the Doctor that I've gotten so used to, and I have to get used to a new one. My favorite doctor will always be David Tennant, but I also like Matt Smith. My second favorite I believe is Tom Baker.

I actually re-watched the episode where he regenerates today, stillfeelsbadman.
