I get the joke but seriously, that isnt funny, there are many who lost thier loved ones due to this, and not to mention the fallen soldiers that served in the war to get the bastards that did this.

You dont think the people in those other countries care? why do i care? maybe because it was my country that was affected by it, the country i am serving to this day. Bet you didnt know i am a soldier, i get on funny junk on my spare time when i can because this site brought me amusment before i enlisted. sure it happened 10 years ago, but have you physically seen people in your platoon die in battle? die in a battle that was caused because of 9/11. Its not something you can just easily get over
I know what you mean when you say the military stuff, I'm training to be a drill sergeant once I graduate high school, and I've seen some pretty bad stuff before. But they have attacked us before, many times, even at the WTC. Still though, death is just a part of life, there's nothing you can do about it.
tl;dr: Sounds like a personal problem. Should take care of that.

Its not that i cant get over it, its just hard to know that your best friend you went to boot camp with died in battle. props that you want to be a drill instructor but its going to be a while for you to become a drill instructor, atleast till your 22 and have the rank of Sargent to gunnery Sargent. if you didnt know that already.
Oh no, I know that. I've put some research into it. You also have to go to a school for it, be chosen from the top of the class, and get instructed by people even below your rank, correct? And I know exactly what you mean, I've lost best friends, my own mother. It's not so much that you lost them, it's just that you've been through so much, then one day they're completely gone and you have to just push on without even being able to say goodbye. Also I'm patriotic, don't get that wrong, I just don't believe America today is how it was supposed to be, and this just seems like something we're milking. Sure a lot of people died, but live and let die is how it really should be.

I see what you mean, it does seem like they are milking the whole event, but it did make it into textbooks so its not going to leave. you don't necessarily have to go to school for it, actually you have better chances of becoming a drill instructor, or an officer by enlisting and going through programs they have in the military. I'm a marine so maybe the standards might be different depending on which branch you join, but over all you still have better chances of becoming one through enlistment.
