Very little and mostly on the surface - where we have explored the deeps, this has been in a few selected instances. I think David Attenborough on the Blue Planet explained that we know more about the surface of the moon than we do about the deep ocean trenches .

I am sure that we have barely scratched the surface of what is down there. One estimate I found is that we have explored 5% of the world's oceans.

The site below is a good place to start (by the son of the famous diver Jacques Cousteau).
