Because they're cold blooded reptilian creatures wearing the skin of humans then proceeding to purposely dress and act horrible to degrade the quality of our society and eventually overthrow humanity. When they do what appears to simply be loitering, they're actually in their hibernating state, which for their species is when the majority of their brain goes to sleep, leaving only the parts required to sit around, casually sipping beverages and discussing obscure bands. They like to do so in coffee shops and other various lounges, as they're often warm and cozy, thus explaining the abundance of hipsters in said areas.

HIpsters are unable to feel anything, for they are hipsters and feeling things is too mainstream.

I dress very light during the winter, but that's because I don't get cold as easily as other people. Everyone thinks I'm trying to show off and I end up accidentally pissing people off. I haven't done anything wrong though.
