My mom dated a cop when I was little, and he took me to a shooting range a couple of times. I think properly firing/handling a gun is something everyone should learn how to do, whether you own a gun or not. You never know when it might save your life, especially when the zombie apocalypse comes.

Yeah, most people would pin me as a liberal, and I am registered to vote as a democrat, but I still think gun control laws do little more than take away guns from responsible people who are only going to use them for personal protection. Even if civilians weren't allowed to legally own guns, criminals would still get ahold of them, because they know how to. The best thing the government can do to make guns safer is to require that gun owners know how to use them.
