It's a show about war. An entire nation of people wiped out because of a power hungry dictator.

It's basically WWII with Magical Karate.

The Firelord is like Hitler, he wants to take over the world and he was willing to kill EVERYONE in the Earth Kingdom to do it. Everyone else-the other nations team up to stop him.
