It's because game system are MEANT TO BREAK now back when NES was made no one cared if it broke and you had to go back to get a new one, it was all about customer satisfaction. Now when someone makes a game console they make it so it breaks and you have to go buy a new one. The only thing about customer satisfaction anymore are the games themselves and they just bring a new game out every month to make more money. Games have really gone downhill, since...the gamecube/ps2/xbox

Hightower (03/05/2010) [-] Systems now have WAY more moving parts. Think about it for a second, the only moving part on the NES was the loader, right? IDK about all of you but I had to wiggle the games around to seat them. SNES had no moving parts, and was built like a tank. 90% of them still work. Same goes for the N64.

The older ipods, you could smash into a corner of a desk and the screen wouldn't break. The new ones, you put too much pressure on the screen with your fucking finger and it'll crack.
