Except for the whole "purge the human race" ideology, I think Hitler could have been a guy you could have a beer with.

Ever so historically accurate.
Nobody actually got the Volkswagens, they all payed but Hitler didn't deliver. History GCSE ftw.

Nothing is true.
Everything is permitted.

In a hundred years time, this man will be revered as nothing short of a saint.

Hardly. His generals were smart. His scientists were smart. His propaganda minister was smart. He wasn't really smart at all. His major skills involved speaking like a schizophrenic and not caring about treaties.

You have to be smart to recruit such an efficient team to help the country. Germans would look at Hitler as a hero hadn't he killed all those jews.

I'd think if he would have spent his time and money killing the actual enemy rather than his own citizens like an idiot, he could have won a war.

Hitler was a military and political genius, so I agree with your statement. But he was too idealistic.

I believe, good sir, it was a German chancellor by the name of Stresemann who managed to pull Germany into the so called "Golden Age" in the 1920's until Hitler and the Nazi Party came to power by popular vote in 1933.

That was nothing to do with what I said.

In 1923, the Weimar Republic "ruled" Germany, and hyperinflation had been happening since 1921. As it reached its peak in 1923, all of the industrial zones that Germany had once had had been "taken" by France and Belgium (due to Germany not being able to pay the reparations as stated in the Treaty of Versailles), resulting in the German economy basically failing, with inflation increasing up to six times per day. In August 1923, Hans Luther came up with the idea of a whole new currency to solve inflation, and it did. However, Germany could still not pay the reparations it owed to France, UK, UsA and some other countries, and was still struggling. Then, the USA stepped in and lent Germany enough money so it could pay back all of its Reparations and get it's industrial heartland (which I believe was known as the Ruhr) back.

Hopefully that cleared up what I was saying as by the negative thumbs I received either nobody understood what I meant or they're the typical faggots in which whenever something is said about the USA which sounds slightly negative they thumb down and cry.

But it wasn't solely the US' doing, Stresemann sorted out all of the problems by negotiation, and the US HELPED.
