why yes bullets do accelerate very fast unless they wouldnt get out of the gun. this has happened to a bunch of people and has showcased on csi and 1000 ways to die

they also showcased this and mythbusters and proved it would be possible but very very very very very very rare to kill the person, it would normally just give them a concusion(i spelled that wrong)
