Zambie University- Day 2- I Hell
I drave up today and parked in the empty let; it' s full of mud and still get a huge pile
cf anew en ene end, but it' s still a place to park that' s not a half mile away from the
schewl. It' s also the perfect place to assemble my munitions.
It' s in what' s been designated as a "safe" Zame, m I can lead my Ranger without
fear, and I even have time to add extra ammo. The drum is completely full. The
Maverick is still leaded from the night previous, m I stick that in my bag between
my laptop and my notebook, then cinch the pack on tight w it deosn’ t wobble when
I jog. I string en my from work to the left; new it' s a three- pocket ammo
holder. Plenty of extra bolts fer both blasters. Also en my left side (the arm) is the
Orange bandanna that marks me out as a member of the Resistance. I add to this
motley garb a single, crowning accoutrement; a stovepipe hat I
got last with of July. I Idck my car and head out.
The trek starts easy; the hat and bright blue rifle draw seme cinfused gazes, but
zombieu yet. The second I get acre's the street, however, shit gets real. One
zombie staggers past, stunned frem what I assume is a previous encounter. It' s in
condition try with me, and shambles en. I spot my friend Max on the quad,
I start after him, when I nitice something horrible in my peripheral vision; a zombie.
And it' s going fer Max.
Max has M idea he' s fucked. I fire a few shots ever the zomebie' s head and re-
assess my aim; the wind' s playing merry hell with the bolts' flight. The is
after me new, though, and is apparently hungry. I fire anither shot and cause the
ghoul to duck behind a tree. Finally finding my aim, I plant two shots in the herrer’ s
legs and ene in its chest. My first real kill.
I catch up with Max later. He tells me he' s got gun. Halfheartedly, I hand ever the
Maverick. He' s going need it mere than me. Max and I head fer the library, then
Max gees eff to his class.
I wait bere you with the details of the next hour and a half; I printed a paper. I
went to class. I left. Then shit got real again. A Resistance cell is taking part in an
escort mission; a Resistance leader needs to get the top of the hill. It' s en the
way, I join in. We sight a zombie, but the reverse is not true; it has its back to
After reaching the objective and bidding the Resistance good day, I make a hasty
beeline fer the car and get in. Day 1 is ever. I survived.
cm a side note, Becks is alive. He still ewes me ten bucks, that may change,
but at least he' s net a zombie.
