Also, the snake Harry freed was a boa constrictor, while Nagini is a venomous snake, whose actual species is left ambiguous. Also, but this is more of an inference than a cold hard Harry Potter fact, Voldemort's pride is most likely too great to take an average snake from the muggle world. He'd most likely take a magical species of snake. Yes, if you post bullshit, everything about it will be torn apart by Harry Potter nerds.
