You fought Andross deep underground.. and he was only a floating head with hands. Sometimes he was a robot if you were a pussy and didn't get Mission Accomplished on certain levels. You were floating in fucking space or some shit. There was no lava.. There was that level, however, where you fought the robot on the lava planet. And it was easy as fuck. You shoot it's damn arms off and blow the fuck out of it's head.
Now Area 6. That shit was fucking insane.

andross isnt that hard. and plus theres no lava waves when you fight him... i think your talking about that monster on the sun

Well he doesn't die. He returns, like all other guys that are shot down in a level, 2 levels later. But if you don't save him, you can't take the upper route. ("Follow me Fox!")
