I don't mind them in the least. Seriously.

Some reposts are actually encouraged; for example, seeing this post after I haven't seen it in a few months. I enjoy looking at good content, regardless if it's a repost or not.

Also, if it's a repost I see all the time, there's a thing called the next button. Not that hard.

Thank you for not just thumbing me down and moving on.

You must know that some people truly ARE bothered by people who repost their content, though.

It's a problem we need to address, not ignore.
If you really want to see a post again that's been on frontpage, it's easy to find it.

And we need to think about the reposter.
They isn't doing it so people can see it again, they're doing it for thumbs.

I understand that some people who work hard over their OC have their content stolen and masked by the OP who reposted it. I would be bothered, as well, but think of it a little differently: their content is gaining popularity. Their content is getting noticed. Their content is good enough to get reposted.

As for the reposters, think about it this way: what are thumbs? They're meaningless. Why does it matter if they get thumbs because of a repost? Let them live in their dreamworld where thumbs mean everything to them.

But, I must admit, reposts are the majority of FJ. It is annoying, for the most part, but there are the occasional posts that are worth reading again. I understand how it could get annoying, and frankly, it kind of is. It just doesn't bother ME much. It may bother someone else such as the original content maker, but (considering myself to be 'average') the average FJ user doesn't really care. I mean, I do care that that's all FJ is becoming, but it doesn't bother me to see reposts. The next button is there for a reason.

I don't care if it's a re-post because it's not like everyone saw that one original post, some have yet to see it, and even if it IS re-posted, the post can still be funny. There is an extent to how many times something can be re-posted though, like getting posted every single day (although this doesn't apply to memes).

I completely agree, the bipolar reaction's are more irritating than the reposts themselves. I personally dislike reposts and I stick to it :D
