Stop the ******** American government from doing this!
Watch this video for more info: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hytigOSjJxc

Oh fuck no. You wanna know
what the government is thinking
of doing? They' re thinking of
passing a bill, which can put you
in jail for uploading copyright
infringment on a video.
In other words, if you upload
gameplay of a video game, you
can go to jail. If you even upload
of video of you singing Karaoke,
you can go to jail for it. What is
our Government fucking
thinking? Around over 85% of
Youtube will be taken down due
to this. People like Machinima
and Hazard Cinema will also have
to get shut down.
Fuck the government. I never ask
for thumbs, but thumb this shit
up and get the word out.
Check description to complain to
our Government, that they
should NOT be doing this.

Communism is a social system where the proletariat rises to power over the government. It doesn't work because the absence of government results in the people promoting one person as a de facto leader to lead their cause, who in turn becomes corrupt without fail.
You are thinking of facism, which is a system of government that is led by one supreme ruler, or dictator, which stems from a system of government rampant in the 1600's and 1700's called an Absolutism, where and absolutist monarch would completely control a system with no opposition.
Dictators and dictatorships are on the opposite spectrum from communism; communism is extreme liberalism, whereas dictatorship is extreme conservatism.
Learn your history, Anon.

Still, communism is not a government of the people because while they people may have initiated and installed the ruler to begin with, they cease to have a say in their government once his rule becomes absolute and commonplace.

The bill is great in the fact that is stops people from streaming or viewing tv shows or movies online for free. The part where it stops people from putting gameplays on youtube is stupid, gameplays on youtube are the best way of advertisement. And it makes it illegal for anyone to post themselves singing or playing any music that they havent created themselves

I wholeheartedly agree.
I'm really ******* tired of youtube sucking so much ass because of people who can't review for **** (or entertain for ****). I say leave it to the PROFESSIONALS (who will still have the right to post things IGN, Machinima, Gameinformer,) to review games in the world.

Also, why the hell would you thumb this up? This is neither a funny/good/entertaining post or a ****** but a little bit funny retoast. I need some help from the people who are actually THINKING about this ****. Besides, the bill probably won't even get passed.

I ******* hate you. It's people like you that complain endlessly about the government as if all they exist to do is ruin your life. There is good reasoning behind this. America (And quite alot of the rest of us, thanks for passing on your ********, btw) is in a delicate economic state. Unemployment is rising and economic activity is dropping. Companies lose millions of dollars from copyright infringement and piracy. That being said, i myself do not like to pay for **** if i can get it for free. But the point here is that this loss of money is a negative impact to economic activity. Jobs are lost and growth is stunted. You may think that the government just wants to lock you up in prisons because it hates you and is taking it up the ass from the
'corporations' but the truth is that sometimes a government has to do things it's people doesn't like in order to maintain long-term stability. Economically speaking, America is hanging on by a thread. It's national debt is beyond massive. And businesses losing millions of dollars from piracy is not going to help make it stronger. Try to see things from both sides of the story instead of just bitching because you think it's unfair. Read a ******* book or something.

although i dont like the bill (mostly because it is too broad on what it is prohibiting) i agree with you. We are in a state where the government is flat broke and on the edge of a depression. i dont think this bill will do much to help however. it will only serve to make the rich, richer. i also agree that most people these days just assume the government are just there to make their lives hard. its not. its made for the people and although it is a bit corrupt, it helps keep dangerous people away from the public with prisons, somewhat educated with schools, fed with food stamps, healthy with medicare/medicate, and safe with police/firefighters/the military. and growing up poor and having to use some of these things has taught me to respect and be proud that i GET to live in such a well developed country where the people no matter what race, sex, or religion come first. and anyone else who lives here or anywhere else where you are allowed to speak your mind and do what you want within reasonable limits should feel the same way.

Ok yes soawesomeithurts you have a point. You clearly stated it. But this bill should either not be passed or re-written. Video game companies and industries right now have the right to tell anyone who is showing gameplay of their material to take it off of Youtube or which ever site it is on. But they don't. Why? Because it helps them get profit. People on Youtube (Toby Turner, etc.) go out and buy the games and show us whether or not we want to buy it. Also they show the game the way THEY wanna play it. It all depends on what you want to do once you get your hands on the game. Now I completely agree with the bill on other things. Movies and music should NOT be allowed to be distributed on the internet, but people who are singing karaoke cannot upload anything either. Justin Bieber got famous from karaoke! not saying I like him or anything. Also, if you put the files to download said video game, yes then I agree too. But they should re-write the bill so that playthroughs and walkthroughs are still available.

"TODAY'S NEWS: TRILLON PLUS IN DEBT - PASSLAWS TO PROTECT MUSIC AND GAMING INSTEAD OF FIXING IT"
Thanks America.
P.S, videos containing the music, or the video games, are actually promoting it, and shouldn't be a felony.

You should understand the intentions of the bill before you say something like that, even if you are right to some degree, its not like that's all they're doing to help. This bill is still just starting so it's not even a big deal. And your PS is actually what that second link in the description is trying to inform the bill supporters about. They have no idea how the gaming world works.

son, are you retarded? do you think that the government has a magical button called 'fix everything' and they just dont push it because they are dicks? and videos about games? no, they do not hurt the game and yes they do promote it. but music? Its not promoting, its more like giving. that would be like if an ad for pringles just gave you a can of 'em

I'm not saying it will work, I'm saying they're trying. The internet is a new thing, and it's not like they can draw on experience to deal with it.

Screw you, you're an dick who doesn't know the first thing about the internet, pretty much everyone who has ever posted a videogame/music video on youtube has posted it in an attempt to spread the word about the awesomeness of a game or band (perhaps not Justin Beiber or Rebecca black though)

And furthermore, it is not the bill that is the problem, It's the way it is worded, It is there to protect any COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL from being shared by electronic means, If the bill had perhaps been worded differently this would not be a problem, but it is, so either do something about it or stop bitching already.
