She didn't get a tip because she expected a tip. A tip is designed to give incentive to the employees who take their job seriously. Once they expect a tip, they don't work hard. That dumb bitch shouldn't have coughed rudely to indicate that she wanted to be paid.

Tips are so common, at least in south, that servers are paid below minimum
wage, cause tips are supposed to make up for it. Its a DICK MOVE to not give
a tip. Only time you shouldn't tip is if the waiter did something horrible.

Here in England, tips just aren't done. Ever. But we get paid more so it sort of balances out.

i live in england and everybody i know except me tips. i don't agree with it. if we satart tipping waiters we have to start tipping other people like bus drivers or bin men. they get payed for their jobs so they can fuck off

yeah im a waitress in australia and i get tips like once every 2 months maybe and thats like 50c or $1
