To everybody hatin on the police, the man that stole the 3 billion may have paid his way out, and the homeless man probably chose the 15 year sentence so he can get medical attention and have a place to sleep and eat

I may sound harsh but I think prison will be a good thing to him, at least he will get his food and warm clothes...

Sometimes I truly hate the legal system here. Did you guys know that here in Orlando it's illegal to give a homeless person food! FOOD for Christs sake! They expect us to look at a person who's starving and deny them food!

i do admit that this is major fucked up, but the homeless man could have asked for a sentence like that because there could very well be detox programs in the prison that we would go to, i just read something about a man who stole $1 from a bank just so he could get his back fixed, the rich bastard should have gone to jail for much longer, but i think that i might have been a choice on the homeless mans part

It sounds harsh but he'll probably do better off in prison with regular food and shelter than being left on the streets.

Judge gave him 15 years cause that's 15 years of free food and bed for him..

I find that positive. He has gotten himself a home, shelter, food, shower and so on. it may still be dangerous, but not more dangerous than on the street if he keeps with the right people.
