I hate the 3rd and 4th grenerations. They just added too much and I didn't think it complemented the game at all. Pokemon Black and White really fixed that though.

I have played them all and they all have upsides and downsides, I think Black and White are fantastic but could do with the pokemon following you like in Heartgold and Soulsilver, other than that it was a good game with pretty good pokemon.
