Not really, most songs are Hard Rock some of them are metal though (side of a bullter in example) but they have some songs which sound like they contain influences by grunge

and for Disturbed, they're music ranges from hard rock to metal till "nu-metal"
so in all disturbed is a alternative metal band


pls explain to me ppl, i hear some of my "hardcore" friends argue about those things but why is it that most people get offended if they're "hard music" gets called rock

I play bass drums guitar and play in a band making up to $5000 each per gig, i think i do know my music. There rock, at best. Slayer is metal. BFMV is metal. Disturbed is metal. nickleback is not
