for all the people with the "105+45+504=654" excuse, stop, it doesn't work. First of all, VL isn't even a Roman Numeral. 45 is XLV (10 before 50, + 5). It's simple addition of numerals, get over it.

Holy shit, every anon that's pointing out that it isn't 666 is getting red thumbed into oblivion, when they are all right. If a smaller number comes before a larger one, you subtract it. So if it was XXIV, it wouldn't be 26, it would be 24. It's the same principle here. VL is 45, not 55. DIV is 104, not 106. Think about Super Bowls. For example, we will say Super Bowl XIV. According to the math principles stated above, it would be Super Bowl 16. But, you will find that this was the 14th Super Bowl. Therefore showing that the math above is flawed, and does not equal 666, which is what most of the anons have said. But, they've all been thumbed down, which disproves what I thought, namely being that a majority of people on Funnyjunk are smart. But, you can clearly see this isn't the case when the few who get it right have to sign in as anon so they won't be, as I stated earlier, thumbed down into the abyss. I thought people of higher intellect were the majority, even the average on Funnyjunk. Although, studies show smarter people are more likely to accept bullshit, as their minds have better ways of rationalizing it, or other reasons entirely.

in roman numerals, a small number before a big number means minus...i/e IV is not 1+5=6, it's 5-1=4. therefor, wouldnt the above statement be;
