My father has money, he always spends it on going out, buying things for himself, and never gave any money to me other than for schooling.
He beat me up a few times because I didn't want to comply with what he wanted me to do.
I talked with my mother and decided to live with my grandparents, since the family was falling apart the way it was.
Now I live with my grandparents, things have settled down, everyone is happy, more or less, I still don't get much money from my father but at least things are doing better for me.
P.S. In my country, one can only work during college if one pays double the fee for tuition(400 instead of 200 for me) so in order to get a job I have to pay double, which would cancel out with what I could get with just my high school degree.
P.S.S. The real world hit me when I was 12-13, the only thing on my mind ever since is being independent and working for my own keep.
P.S.S.S. Well done everyone, you've made me waste 5 minutes to type this out, now go fuck yourselves unless you want to come over and settle this in person...
