Actually, women DO produce testosterone. And men make estrogen. In fact, men secrete Lutenizing Hormone, which is a major role-player in menstruation.

cdm (06/13/2011) [-] Ah, yes, the joke. Very funny. Loved it. But I love studying the body, I can't not dig deeper into it. The testosterone bit's common knowledge, the lutenizing hormone's what's interesting. And we produce Follicle Stimulating Hormone alongside it, despite the fact follicles are unique to the female reproductive system. Male and females use the same sets of hormones in entirely different ways... Fascinating, isn't it?
