lol this is a true story...my brother went to disney world and there was a guy dressed up like this. my brother though the person was a statue so he punched the toy soldier in the face. so the toy soldier guy slapped my brother in the face. so then we had to go to the disney main office cuz we were gonna get kicked out, and when they opened the door get on the floor, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur

It was more then likely the de-militarized versions like that ROTC & JROTC units use for Drill team and Exhibition teams. Cause I know we had Daisy Springfields which were just replicas & M-14s, which had the bolt welded shut so you couldn't load it and the barrel plugged and welded. Pretty much made them fully inoperable. But they were still great guns to perform with.
