You know, most girls I've seen and know are not like you o.o At all. In the sense that a lot of them are seemingly attracted to douche bags. Then they complain when they treat them like crap about how they can't find a nice guy. o.o I'm glad to know that at least there are worthwhile girls out there, somewhere, that aren't into guys as shallow as a puddle >.<

I know it's seems really unlikely that girls wont go for a nice guy, and they could very well be about as enlightened as a cave, but with how people are currently obsessed with how they are portrayed with who they are and who they're with, guys shouldn't even focus on girls like that. Yeah, I think they're harder to find depending on how urban your location is honestly. I went from the boondocks to being in a city. Wow. Im a girl too I agree with everything you just said.. Its not that we like douche bags, we like the ones we can't have so, girls go for the douche bags to prove they are better then all the other girls and take the abuse from the douche bags just to get with him and the reason why girls dont go for the nice guys is because they are too nice and not a challenge so the nice guys get put in the friend so...thats how I see it.

To all the "sweet guys", Read that comment. Don't fit yourself as that guy who is sweet and charming, but never gets the girl. Or you will become that. I've had a crush on a girl since i was 13, i'm 19 now, and i'm still waiting for her. But i am her best friend, and that is what i need to be for her. If that is what she needs you to be. Then be it. The longer you wait for her the more it is going to be worth it, besides..that will be an amazing story that you will be able to tell your grandkids ;)

Have you actually made a move? Does she know you have a crush on her? If not, then you have no idea if she wants to be more than friends. To be honest, if she did, she would have done something by now for it.
I agree with you, though - if she needs a best guy friend, then you should be there for that. But please don't expect to be anything more. The friend zone exists, and while it's hopeful to think that because you've been "waiting for her", that doesn't necessarily mean she wants to be more than friends, especially if neither of you have expressed wanting to be more.
Just be a good friend, and keep your eyes peeled for girls who need good boyfriends. <3

Well i didn't want to tell my whole story in that one comment. lol I pour my heart out to her every day. She defiently knows how i feel about her. And she has had a crush on me at different times in our lives. But something was happening so that we couldn't happen. And for now, she has a boyfriend. Which i never try to come in between them, and i respect the boundaries of their relationship. But i do let her know how i feel. =D
