Rain one is ********
It depends on the size of the dropplets and the wind and the pressure at the time rain falls.

giving an average for something that has that many independent variables is like saying all people are murders simply because some kill.

*The average would be that no one is a murder :)

I guess, was looking for an example, but couldn't find one

First of all. Who the **** is you to say that they didn't take that in account?

Second. Dropplets isn't even a word, it is either rain-drops or nothing. And you write it like this 'murderers' not murders.

Third and last. Your last point is ******** , something like that would be made like the last fact. Example 'One out of x people are murderers.'

ohh lawdy, my bad about the spelling. Didn't even spot that. In my defense - not a native english speaker
They mustn't have taken the things I mentioned into account because if that would be the case you couldn't have an average - it is too general

you could say that when pressure is 1atm, wind 5 meters/sec etc, then average droplet speed is like 22mph - otherwise you cannot state that. It is extremely un-scientific and unprofessional. I take IB chem Hl and Physics so I know.

Also, your anon, why do I bother if you won;t read it anyway?

I'm not an native English speaker, but your last sentence,
'giving an average for something that has that many independent variables is like saying all people are murders simply because some kill.'

yes bad example, but man up and understand the other things I said. **** the murder example - i used to to accentuate the idea that averaging such a thing as speed of the rain drops is ridiculous - hence 1 murderer in society makes all society evil or some **** like that
