Now this is the story all about how, my sled got flipped, turned upside down. And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there, and I'll tell you how I took a bad turn and caught mad air.
I Soviet Georgia, born and raised, on the ice luge where I spent most of my days. Chillin' out, lugin', relaxin' all cool Finish this.

It was the engineer's own damn fault. Who creates an unbanked 90-degree turn at the end of a luge course, and then leaves unshielded steel I-beams inches from the track? That construction was just asking for disaster.
There were almost a dozen accidents in the training runs again. They should make the builders pay for this tragedy.

Guess he wasnt that good at it if he died, huh?

You guys are idiots. The Olympic Course he was on is considered the most dangerous is the world. They are also the fastest in the world. If the best in the world crashed on this course, it just proves how dangerous it was. This man deserves some heavy respect.

I just watched the video...
For anyone that cares, here's a detailed description on what happened...
Ok so, he was on a run way on a sled. He was going very very fast and going through some very hard turns. On one of the turns he went off balance and that caused his sled to drift. The drift made the sled topple, resulting in Nodar flying through the air, OFF of the track and into a thick cemented support beam. He hit with his back first very hard and I presume he died instantly.
After watching it I have nothing but respect for the guy...
