It's not religion that's the problem, though. It's beliefs in general. Beliefs cause conflicts, whether it's between a christfag and an atheistfag, or between a communistfag and a capitalistfag. I actually studied the Bible at Catholic school from a Masters in Theology from Oxford, Notre Dame and Harvard. I carried that on at the University level. I studied it's history as well as most other major religions.

America is a secular nation on which many of the founding fathers designed it without any indication of it being founded on Christian let alone religious imput. Most of it was based on the philosophy of Locke and Thomas Paine, both anti-theist, or at least non religious.

Evolution is the most supported theory of any science known. It has more support for it than gravity, viruses, atoms and any other science. It has so much evidence that it is the most reliable theory to date. Evolution alone proves that all life did not just poof into existence. Also evolution does in fact provide substantial evidence where human morality came from.
Basic geology shows that the Earth is BILLIONS of years old not a few thousand as it says in the Bible. If you look at the Old Testament that's full of death commanded by God and the slaughter of literally thousands of people it's obvious that it IS NOT MORAL!
Plus those basic morals were already found in humanities oldest forms of law
