Marijuana doesn't develop any mental dependencies like poppy based drugs and crack does, therefore it's not addicted. People who smoke it that are already depressed or disturbed in someway that weed may sooth become addicted to the feeling of being high. Overall, cannabis doesn't have any addictive substances.

Saying that "marijuana is bad for you" is very ignorant. The smoke is bad for you. Why? Because when the plant matter is burned, it releases carcinogens (just like everything else), which over time, and with heavy amounts of smoke, build up and form tar in the lungs.

Marijuana has been proven in many studies to have reduced tumors in test mice with higher doses of THC ( chemical in marijuana that makes you feel 'high').

The addictive properties of weed are like that of alcohol - addictive to the depressed. I understand that already.

But my point is that drugs that are smoked or injected are bad for you. It's also said that weed staggers brain growth in teens. Not confirmed, but I won't risk it either. Anyway, I'm just saying that I prefer to not have a layer of tar start forming in my lungs as normal air pollution is bad enough :/

And your lungs to filter out some of the toxins. Tar build up from cannabis isn't likely, unless you're constantly refilling them with smoke.. on a daily bases. Even then it would still take some time..

You don't have to smoke it.. That's what I'm saying. You're saying that weed is bad - its not. If baked with or vaporized (I just got done vapeing some.. my god it's zillions of times better than smoking.. you just had a complete body high and you're not cloudy at all ), it's absolutely safe.

Cannabis is an amazing creation. You can make paper (declaration was made on hemp - harvested from the cannabis plant), clothing, food, and beyond. And it only takes about 50 or so days to fully mature.. You could solve soooo many world problems very cheaply if people farmed marijuana.

They give lung cancer patients weed. It doesn't damage the lungs. That's bullshit. I myself smoked some weed on my birthday and i had a cold. I had mucus in my lungs for 5 days before i smoked it within like 1/2 an hour the mucus was gone after smoking.

I don't know about you, but a everyday weed smoking dad is many times more better than an alcoholic dad...

Weed is not worse than tobacco. Its actually much better for you. Weed isnt known to do any harm to the body other than filling the lungs with tar. Cant o.d. on it, Cant become addicted, completely organic and it makes you feel awesome... best thing there is.
