Your facts on waterbears are poor. The true story:
They can survive around the temperatures you listed, you got that part right.
Though their max limit has not been found, the record is 102 years survived without water.
They can also survive thousands of times more radons that human's can, an impressive feat.
And, of course, THEY CAN LIVE IN SPACE!!! (They've been known to survive for up to 10 days in the vacuum of space, although the true limit has not been tested).
How? They go into a state of suspended animation in which they lose nearly all brain function, keeping only enough to keep the body from dying and being able to respond when living conditions have improved.
