mnorris **User deleted account** (01/22/2011) [-] it really depends on how someone views sex. I'm not a casual sex person. It has to mean something to me for the most part, though I wouldn't say no to a little sex here and there, but having sex with just anyone would eventually start to bother me. But I also know people who are the exact opposite. They just consider sex to be a good time, an activity if you will.

teentitansdreamer (01/22/2011) [-] I think the real meaning of "Brave New World" is often hidden by the mention of sex (by any normal human with hormones). If you read it a couple more times, you will see that it's more of a prediction that the human race will blindly dance its way into oblivion. It's the less... melancholy version of "1984." It's the effect of humans' "ignorance is bliss" attitude. Thanks for your input, though. ^_^

Either way, I already knew it was a prediction of the human race, but that prediction seems to becoming true step by step nowadays... Sex is common-place (at least a lot so in the U.S.), almost everyone is taking SOME form of anti-depressant, etc. I've read 1984, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 451. I don't see how (and this isn't in response to anything you've said) we are not heading towards any of that.

If you don't believe in those times, then at least the Industrial Revolution. Um. And yes, society is moving towards all of those bad things, but this is a funnyjunk graph about fapping, not a statement about morality.
If you can't at least tolerate the fact that casual sex happens, has happened, and will continue to happen then perhaps this isn't the website for you. Just sayin'.
