Beast Myths 3
I will not be doing popular ones like bigfoot in one post, but spread
them out. Btw they are myths.
A Banshee is an ghost, in Irish mythology, that is usually a woman
spirit, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from the
Otherworld. Usually known for its screams, that are heard in the
houses they haunt.
The Jersey Devil, the supposed mythical creature of the New Jersey
Firelands, has haunted New Jersey and the surrounding areas for
the past 260 years. Story goes Mrs. Shrouds of Leeds Point, NJ
made an wish that if she ever had another child, she want it to be a
devil. Her next child was born misshapen and deformed. She
sheltered it in the house, so the curious couldn' t see him. ( Could
possibly be related to Snooki.)

A Dard is a bizarre creature from Australia, it has a lizard like
body, the neck of a horse, and a cat like head. It is generally found
basking by the side of the lake, it which it probably lives.
the Getcher was a seabird which laid enormous eggs in great agony.
Hiding the eggs at the bottom of the sea, she was vigilant of
predators. When the eggs were ready to hatch, Getcher rose up
ready to lead her chicks to the shore where they could feed.
