I reckon each planet with life on it will each have a different species that evolved into sentience. Like a planet of felines, canines, reptiles, fish. It's possible, because it is unlikely that primate would be the sentient species on each planet.

That can theoretically never be proven. We would have to discover and scan the WHOLE universe to make it a fact, something that is most definitely not possible at the present.
