are you by any chance looking at data from Forza Motorsport 3?
that is false data, and is in now way trustworthy or accurate.
Just because the Veyron is an S class with the speed stat of a perfect 10.0 doesnt mean it is the fastest car.
and yes the average top speed of an XJ220 is around 220, that is unmodified, and un-tuned.
this is not worth arguing.
The veyron has been branded as the "fastest car" because it is built that way, and has had the most attention, since it is one of the more recent releases, and has one of the longer production runs of the supercars.
give it a rest, nobody really cares.
