-It's not a flying squirrel, it's funk roll single defense.
-The Flying Squirrel isn't illegal if it's done properly, it's when people do it wrong that they're hit for potentially dangerous.
-"arenas"
stop talking about wrestling you filthy casual

Actually, I wrestled for 7 years, and i guarantee the flying squirrel is illegal where I live.

clearly not a flying squirrel^
Refs don't call a single move illegal, they call certain positions and holds illegal. If the flying squirrel is hit right, then every hold/ throw/roll is legal. i could see getting hit with locking hands when you roll on bottom, but that'd be rare because the ref will be looking for the pin, not the locking hands. Other than that, the ref might get excited and call potentially dangerous early, but if done CORRECTLY the flying squirrel isn't actually illegal.

nevermind about the video then if you just got the names mixed up, but it's not illegal if done correctly unless the ref calls it early like they tend to do when they see any sort of toss/aerial move

It's definitely not fake. When you are on one leg, you have to jump to not fall over.

The point isn't that the kick made him flip, it's that the flip is his escape from the single leg.

I wrestled back in High School. Now that I think of it, it was pretty gross and gay.

I always thought that would be really risky. Because if you **** up you just look like a giant tool.

i wish moves like that were more common. Scrambling has a lot of flips and dips involved with it but from what i've seen not too many people know what their doing and only have a vague grasp on it. it's a shame because scrambling is incredibly fun to watch compared to somebody just toppling over once their defense doesn't work out.
