Lean-shoes aren't actually that hard to use, your thighs are the strongest muscle in your body. Much easier than doing, say, a pushup.

Ignoring the fact that the thigh isn't a muscle. The first sentence of that article states that "since three factors affect muscular strength simultaneously and muscles never work individually, it is misleading to compare strength in individual muscles, and state that one is the 'strongest'." What you have is an opinion, not a fact.
