This reminded me of something that happened to me a few months back
>be me
>driving to Idaho with dad
>he's a super crazy cyclist
>bike cost roughly $9,000
>takes that **** everywhere
>roof rack
>hauling ass down the highway
>90 MPH
>Sudden terrible crunching metal sound
> *********************** .avi
>Slam on the brakes
>Bike rack ripped off of the roof
>bike learned to fly
>landed standing up safely on the side of the road
>only about $100 worth of damage sustained to the bike

The photo is exactly how the bike landed. Luckily no one was directly behind us.

How was that only $100 damage?
It looks destroyed, where are the handle bars and front wheel?
Looks like the forks have gone too...

the forks are there. With some bike racks, you remove the front wheel to attach it to the rack. All that bent metal stuff is from the bike rack. Also, on bikes like these the handle bars can easily be removed
