Seen Paul perform live in Pittsburgh in 2010 for the opening of Consol Energy Center. I got to see him from 10 feet away when he first entered the building, he waved right at me. For that moment time absolutely stood still as I looked probably the most legendary rock musician on the planet right in the eyes. Like the guy doesn't even speak to you and you know he is giving you attention. He has the ability to bend time and space, I seen people in their 60's and 70's jump up and down in excitement over the guy.

And the concert/music, I've seen almost every popular rock/metal band out there including a few rappers (and even Lady Gaga once). Paul is not only better than all of them combined, he brought the ************* house down. He had pyrotechnics and fireworks, a nice tribute to his deceased band mates, and put on the best musical performance I've ever heard in person.

If you ever get the opportunity to see this guy no matter the very expensive concert tickets, do it. Paul McCartney is a god among men. I loved the Beatles before seeing him but after you see this guy in person it's a whole other experience. I only wish I could have seen them all in the 60's (I know someone who did once and still has the original concert tickets). I keep a frequent lookout of Ringo ever comes around, too!

< a picture from that day

p.s. if you ever get to see Paul and Ringo perform together you should kill yourself afterwards because nothing in your life will ever amount to seeing them perform together

Beatles, Bowie and Zeppelin. The holy trio of rock music, in my opinion.
