isn't it kinda the first disney movie where a buttload of people die in horrible ways? drowning, explosions, fire?

Well, aside from the villains who get impaled/struck by lightning/hanged by vines/eaten by hyenas, etc, there's Mufasa, trampled by water buffalo. For large-scale deaths, I'm pretty sure that avalanche killed the majority of the invading Hun army.

So no.

Actually the movie was basically disney attempting to make a more "mature" movie then what they were used to... Considering they made the Hunchback of Notre Dame and their movie the Black Cauldron almost got an R rating I don't really follow their logic.

The first guy already answered your comment, you just didn't seem to understand, the answer is yes... Well not necessarily the first but there are a lot of deaths.

The way you're responding to the others replying is why nobody's answering you.

don't know if it's the first, but that is a pretty clear aspect of the film
