I'm playing it right now too. now before i say why it got so many mediocre reviews, i want to say that i love this game and i am having a lot of fun.
Now as it goes for graphics. they are dated. for how short of a game it is. and there is quite a few graphical bugs that stand out. clipping issues and so on. i've seen enemies flying through plat forms and so on.
For music. Their really seems to be a lack of music at all in the game. Save for the final credits which has an AMAZING song. and cables explanation. but beyond that it feels as though it needed some fast pace music for the fights which it was lacking.
when it comes to sound. this is where the game shines. the voice acting is funny and well done. it has plenty of goofy and fun sound effects where it needs and even the guns and weapons have good sounds. although deadpool quickly starts to repeat him self about half way through the game. But the script did so much amazing fan service and thats where this game shows potential.
Now as for gameplay. it is very simplistic. and overly mediocre. once again for how short the game actually is his he has a complete lack of combo's. even with the weapon upgrades. there is a grand total of only 4 real combo's per weapon. and when its this style of game with this style of character AND the teleport aspect. They could have really made some amazing and fun combos. Shooting is just that. plain shooting nothing really special or fun about it. once again. its a short game. and they lack a lot of polish on most of the elements of the gameplay experience.
So in short. The game is WAY to short. Way to simple. Has quite a few graphical bugs. and while i don't tend to care about graphics as much. with how short the game is they could have spent more time on the graphics. or his combo's, or his music, or more snappy one liners. Basically this game seems so fun and loveable because it just has an amazing script. it would have been a much better movie.
